XITEX Software launches new big project for development of online booking system. It’s going to be the first solution of such a kind, developed in Ukraine.

Donetsk, Ukraine – May 11, 2005. XITEX Software, well-known software developer, started to realize a new project – online booking engine – together with one of the largest Ukrainian Airlines. XITEX Software won the tender, having carried out by the Airline for the development of this product.

It is going to be the first Ukrainian-made software solution of such a kind. At present, there are no other similar solutions in Ukraine and Russia. The product will be integrated with global distributive system Gabriel (SITA), which is used by lots of airlines worldwide for storing and distribution of information about their flights and air fares.  

Once entered a web site of the Airline user will be able to request information about flights available to definite destinations and time, make his choice, book a ticket for himself and other passenger as well, and pay it simultaneously by credit card.

“This project is particularly important to our Airline. It will make us closer to our passengers. Our clients will be able to buy tickets just in few seconds. Any time and from any place!” – said financial director of the Airline.

"Moreover, this online service will improve tickets distribution process and decrease our service costs", - emphasized IT-director of the Airline.

New corporate Web site of this Airline opens in June. It will be developed by design group of XITEX Software and will be powered by Web content management system - Xitex WebContent M1 CMS. 

“Increase of the Airline sales, services availability for passengers and considerable savings on airfare sales these are main goals which we see and which we are going to realize for the customer.
